Skull Sketches...

Sitting around the fire station late last night with a little sketch pad on my lap I stumbled upon Reality Bites on the television.

Having only seen it once before a long time ago, I let it run so I could remember what a cheesy, whiney movie it is. HAHAHAHAHAHA!

God our generation SUCKS! :D

Anyway since I can't seem to wake up my art... I have nothing special to post lately...
Therefore when my hand started randomly scrapping out assorted skulls in my braindead state... I figured I'd share them...

The Meeting...

Lately it seems all I can get my mind to do is sketchy portraits of ugly creatures...
And so here is my offering for today...

Zooliver

This is a rough sketch I drew of a comic strip idea I had called Zooliver (pronounced like zooligy but with a "ver" on it). It's about a kid named Oliver who runs a cartoon zoo full of jerky animals.

The monkey is a smartass, the platypus is always trying to be more human than animal and the hippo is just a big, wild, fun time guy.

Comedy ensues as Oliver tries to keep this wild bunch in line and in their cages.

Just to get it started...

I begin this blog as an attempt to get back on the old drawing horse and start riding once more.

Anyway here is an old sketch from a few years back. Only because I have scanned nothing new.
